Municipal Electrical Engineering Services

Design of power, backup power, networking, lighting, and automation systems for Municipal Water and Waste Water Treatment Facilities, Wastewater lift stations, and Water distribution systems (irrigation, municipal drinking water wells and reservoirs), along with associated telemetry systems. Some notable work includes:

Sterling Valley WWTP

Power and controls work to enable a vendor provided 3-Megawatt cogeneration system from food waste digestion. This plant was designed in Revit, providing a full 3D model of the facility. We used this spatial information to layout lighting, large feeder circuits, and controls for the Solids Handing Building.

Lake Stevens WWTP

Electrical design, automation design and implementation for a greenfield Waste Water Treatment Facility with dual Utility feeds and dual backup generators. This plant treats local raw sewage flows, then sends the final treated effluent through a water treatment membrane system. The result is an effluent flow cleaner than the lake it discharges into. A tour of this plant is available online at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whjEikBiOFo.

Ellensburg WWTP

Design of new power distribution and motor controls for a replacement influent pump station for a local wastewater treatment facility. The new electrical equipment in the new pump station provides redundant power bussing to the rest of the existing plant, and replaced the existing aging plant backup generator. The existing pumps were reused and the equipment cut over was completed in a carefully sequenced order to maintain existing plant operations during the entire cut over process.
